Back To School
Yuck! In a few short days I'm officially working again. Today was a rude awakening because I had a workshop (surprise!) that I forgot about. Man, it was a long day, and I was really tired after sitting there for 7 hours. What am I going to do when I actually have to work??

Parent Poll: Highchair vs. booster
So, I love planning. I know it is very early to start registering for baby things, but it is so completely overwhelming! Especially when all the "new parent" lists of suggestions for newborns have items for only one baby! When looking at the list, it doesn't look so bad, then multiply it by two - then think about where you're gonna keep all the stuff! See? Overwhelming. So, I started my baby registry. More of a checklist for myself than a list for gifts (although gifts are always appreciated! :) ). Get to the point - ok - I have registered for 2 highchairs (I know we don't need them right away). They are really cute highchairs, but they are also very bulky. We have a (much) larger house, but still, having to manuver around those things - ugh!
Here comes the poll part: Does anyone have advice or opinions on whether to have the actual highchairs or to get those booster seats that strap to a chair with a tray? Any suggestions are welcomed!!

I'm an addict
I am completely addicted to craigslist. How ridiculous is that?? I keep putting our "junk" on it - stuff we found when we moved - and people keep wanting to buy it! So far I've sold 2 lawnmowers (yes, who needs two except for my wonderful husband) a weight bench, and a computer desk!! Who are these people crazy enough to buy our junk?? Who cares!

baby pictures
Finally, I am putting baby pictures up! Here is the first round of pictures taken about 4 weeks ago, so now the babies are much bigger. This is the first picture I saw, showing that there was definitely more than 1 baby in there!!
This is a picture of (what the doctor labeled my baby) "Twin A".
So, this naturally is "Twin B". This one's upside down in case you can't tell.
So there are our kids. We're still excited and still nervous! Two babies seems like a lot, but we're ready for the challenge.

we're in!
We finally are completely moved into our new house!! With the help of my parents and brothers, we were able to bring all of our worldly possessions over and put them where I wanted them! It feels good to be in one place now, and no longer going between the two homes. Now I can sit back and relax -- until school starts that is!

our second appointment
We had another doctor's appointment today, and I'm happy to say everything looks good! My husband came with me, and I'm not sure he believed we were actually having two healthy babies, so the doctor gave me another ultrasound so that he could see them. He finally feels comfortable telling people, so I just sent out a mass email to all my friends. I feel much better to know everything looks good. We just have a crazy weekend coming up with moving and all, so I better get a nap today!!

long week
Not that I'm complaining, because I am NOT, but this has been a long week and it's only Tuesday! It's my first week not working at all, and I don't have that much to do. We're moving, so I just keep moving things to the new house, but other than that, kinda boring...
I wanted to write that so that in about a year when I am running ragged around trying to keep up with 2 children, I'll be able to fondly remember the good old days of boredom!
